The Academy Awards celebrated the best of cinema Sunday night, broadcasting live on ABC and streaming on Hulu with host Conan O’Brien leading the ceremony. A lineup of presenters that included Nicole Kidman, Pedro Pascal, Ewan McGregor, and Sigourney Weaver helped deliver awards during the night, celebrating cinematic excellence.

In the top acting categories, Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor for his performance in Sinners, while Jessie Buckley earned Best Actress for her role in Hamnet. The Best Supporting Actress award went to Amy Madigan for her performance in Weapons.

The night’s biggest winner was One Battle After Another, which captured Best Picture and additional awards for directing and film editing under filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson. Meanwhile, Frankenstein triumphed in costume design, makeup, and hairstyling, and Sinners added wins for cinematography, original score, and original screenplay.

Other notable winners included KPop Demon Hunters for Best Animated Feature, while Avatar: Fire and Ash won Best Visual Effects. In the documentary category, Mr. Nobody Against Putin took home the Oscar, closing a ceremony that once again highlighted the global impact and creativity of the film industry.
