Cassie Ventura, whose full name is Casandra Elizabeth Ventura, gained prominence in the early 2000s with her hit single “Me & U,” released under Combs’ Bad Boy Records. She was in a long-term relationship with Combs for over a decade before the couple separated in 2018.
Following their split, Ventura married personal trainer Alex Fine in 2019. The two have two daughters.
In her testimony, Ventura referred to a past incident that allegedly took place during a stay at a Los Angeles hotel. According to a hotel employee, whose account was supported by security footage shown in court, Combs allegedly struck Ventura and dragged her across the floor.
